Film season “Cine en el Jardín”

The ‘Cinema in the Garden’ series is held every year during the month of October. Organized by the Royal Botanical Garden – CSIC (RJB-CSIC) and the Spanish Association of Landscapers (AEP), this cycle seeks, on the one hand, to highlight the conservation and respect of our natural environment, and, on the other, to highlight the important role that landscaping plays in the development of plant biodiversity.
Cinema, thanks to its universal visual language and the global reach it achieves, is a fundamental tool to generate knowledge, create awareness and promote an active attitude towards the objective of conserving and preserving our nature promoted by this project coordinated by Manuel Sánchez (AEP ), Cruz Calleja and Jesús García-Rodrigo (RJB-CSIC).
