Conference: “The European Night of Researchers in Madrid”

A dozen researchers from the Royal Botanical Garden (RJB) of the Higher Council for Scientific Research ( CSIC) will take advantage of the scientific dissemination project ‘The European Night of Madrid Researchers’ to highlight before the educational community the importance that botany has in the field of science by interrelating with many other subjects and covering the extensive study of the different forms of life in nature.
The activity will take place on the morning of Friday, September 29, between 9:15 and 2:30 p.m. The three scheduled meetings-colloquiums will take place in the assembly hall of the Botanical Garden. At the conclusion of each colloquium, attendees will take thematic guided tours of the Garden to learn in situ about the conservation and research work with the collection of live plants. About 300 people are expected to attend, mainly ESO and Baccalaureate students and teachers from the Community of Madrid.
