Jardín de los Planteles
Next to La Chopera is the Jardín de los Planteles, with a layout that dates back to the 19th century. It is a testament to traditional Madrid gardening, formed of dense groves inside squares bordered by hedges of California privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) and Ligustrum japonicum. Inside there are carpeting plants, shrubs and a flowery meadow. Here the old irrigation system is preserved in a testimonial way.
